Adaptive/therapeutic music lessons are music lessons that serve to provide a unique educational experience for those who have different learning styles, identify with having a disability, or any other reason why traditional music education is not preferred.

Additional supports may be provided, adapted educational environment (e.g, natural light versus harsh florescent lamps, etc), or other student-centered accommodations are made.
